As someone who loved the Shardlake books by C J Sansom, I was properly excited for this. It's been 20 years in the making (the BBC had the rights but decided to make Wolf Hall instead).
First episode wasn't bad (mostly scene setting) and I'm glad they haven't Disnified everything so let's see. Anyone else interested in this?

I'd love to see Shardlake made visual.
Have read (and enjoyed) all of the books in the series.
Where is it available?
Disney+. 4.99 for a month (with ads) is the cheapest way to get it. Have read (and enjoyed) all of the books in the series.

I was very much looking forward to Ratcliff but I'm not sure how far he got. It's a great shame that he died so recently.
For those like me who enjoyed Tombland (a lot of people thought it a bit turgid), Ketts Oak is still alive, but rather smaller than I imagined it in the book On the B1172.

Tombland was my first Sansom novel and I appreciated the pacing but could see why others may find it slow going. I enjoyed it sufficiently to start the series from the beginning.I was very much looking forward to Ratcliff but I'm not sure how far he got. It's a great shame that he died so recently.

Depending how close to completion Ratcliff was to being finalised, it may yet get published in due course.
