For those who find Bullitt a dull movie I can't help asking, what do you consider a good movie?
Presumably not Vanishing Point.
Bullitt is widely considered a classic, scoring 98% on Rotten Tomatoes for reviews and 85% on audience rating. That doesn't mean everyone has to like it though.

I thought it dull but then I find most films of this era very slow paced and uninspiring. Presumably not Vanishing Point.

In the same year, The Thomas Crowne Affair was better but I still prefer the remake with Pierce Brosnan.
I also liked Rosemary's Baby, and 2001 had its moments.
