Practical Performance Car is back as a YT channel it seems, being run by a couple of the lads from the old mag. A few videos up so far, looking like a decent start. Latest is an MG Midget drag car. Pretty nuts thing.

Either I'm going deaf or they need to sort the audio out, better microphones perhaps

Yeah, looks like they're working on it though. New video just up: Rover SD1 with a tank engine in it. Nuts.

Might be a new video but that car was featured in the mag many years ago.
They'll have to up their game to compete on YouTube

Seems to be doing well - more than 100k views on it.

They also posted this the other day. 2CV with a BMW motorbike engine! Sleeper/deathtrap but very fun:

Some people bought that mag regularly and want to see where it is and what's going on with it now.

Yep, I subscribed to the mag, it was a shame it finished. Always interested to see what Charlie's doing with the SD1, I wouldn't want to live next door though. hehe

Love that 2CV ! That motor in the van Wheeler Dealers have just done would be good.

Anyone else watching this channel? Doesn't seem to get noticed around here much. They seem to feature some pretty interesting/quirky classics every week now. Worth a shout about (or maybe I'm the only one biglaugh )

I have tried it, but Will is just a bit too wooden in front of the camera and spoils the watch.

Fair enough! I find the quality of the videos/production/etc has been improving since they started. Not annoying and shouty like some other channels too - nicely understated biggrin

Anyone else been watching recently?

It's been a bit hit or miss I've found. The Dave Walker (Emerald m3d) episode was particularly good: https://youtu.be/NzkrYvE-EmA?si=U_LiAPv-cM1jcw7Z - he's an amazing communicator

The E-Type to Le Mans road trip: not great. Audio was way off. Hopefully things improve from there over the winter..!

I used to buy PPC good mag even if they never actually got around to finishing projects.
Good preparation for Binky I suppose…

Will check out the YouTube channel.

There's not a lot of project stuff on there currently. There was a 205 GTI episode a while ago and Will's Mercedes SEC but that's about it. No major builds or anything, at least for now. Perhaps it'll change?!

Best of the bunch (the YT algorithm seems to agree) would be this 2CV video:
