Celebrities you would most like to have a beer with.

Of course unless you know a celebrity personally (and closely) then you don’t really know them as everything you do know is only from second or third hand sources. But on the basis of what information you do have, who would you most like to meet in real life - maybe for a beer or coffee?

I really like Mark Hamill. From what I’ve read and the interviews I’ve seen he comes across as a really nice, down to earth person. Perhaps too much so for Hollywood, which partially explains how he didn’t make it as an actor (although he did as a voice actor). He comes across as a bit geeky but that would be fine by me!

Viggo Mortensen strikes me as being both very interesting, somebody you could have conversations about many different things (in many different languages) but also a fundamentally good person. If my opinion wasn’t already high I saw something recently on YouTube. Apparently whilst filing Lord of the Rings they had a horse trainer involved. She helped with the stunts. She wanted to buy the grey that was ridden by Gandalf but there was strong interest and she wasn’t rich enough. Without her knowing Viggo bought it as a present for her.

If I was choosing a third it would be Javier Bardem. But only if he brought his misses along…
