The press reviews are in.
They are...not great.
Have you seen it?They are...not great.
But I think I will hold off and see if the public reviews are as savage as the critics'.
We're going to see it this weekend. It's a 12 (suitable for offspring) and it's got action in it - when was the last one of them? I love going to the cinema but there's been so little of interest lately.
From the YouTube reviews it sounds like simple daft fun. I think the 'formal' reviewers are being snobs.

Whilst I'll read/ listen to film reviews they are pretty pointless. You might as well be arguing over your favourite colour.
This is my type of escapism action adventure stuff. Even if the script is poor or the acting wooden, for me as long as I feel the cast had a good time making it, I think that shines through and makes it time well spent.
For example, I didn't get the poor reviews for the latest Mission Impossible film. I really believe TC loves doing it and to me it looked like he, and the rest of the cast, were having a blast and I'm happy to pay the paltry cinema fees (generally under a tenner post-Covid) to see him do it.
I'll be there with knobs on.
