15 second adverts are 20 seconds and totally unskipable.
Adverts about abosoute crap id never buy
Bopping away to an ace dance tune and it thens then "WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH BODY FORMMMMM BODY FORMMM FOR YOUOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

You know there is something called Youtube premium that means you don't have adverts

They’re rolling out anti-ad-blocker software too so soon that won’t be an option anymore. YT Premium is worth it even if you only use YT a few times a week, esp if you use the Argentina hack.

You can skip the ad, granted you still have to through the irrelevant, offensive and repetitive but it’s a few weeks before the same advert appears again.

But yes I agree it’s getting worse.

I've installed SmartTubeNext on a fire stick.

The worse they make it the more people will look at ways around or alternatives.

This for me, couldn't not be doing with adverts and sponsored content. Well worth the money for me.

Newpipe works very well on android, no adverts and lets you download easily too... Comments and recommendations, playlists, etc all work too.

I don't have YT Premium but never, ever get ads on my PC, phone or notebook.

On my smart TV I get lots of ads.

Can someone explain this?

Buy a vpn , travel to the Phillipines, sign up to premium.

I pay £2 a month for premium - you don’t have to lie about your address or anything.

Premium is only £11.99 anyway - it’s worth that to me to not have adverts. smile

We have been here before.

YouTube may be 'free' to watch, but if the people who make the videos have no income, there won't be any videos to watch.

It's a circular argument, because the people who want to cheat won't accept their part in this, but adverts are becoming more obtrusive because so many users are bypassing them.

Suck it up and support the YTers ypu like to watch.

I'll support content in numerous ways.

There are many ways to do so, across many different medias and platforms.

Advertising during digital content is not a model I support.
I sometimes pay for some of my shopping.

Well it's the model they provide.

How do you suppose YouTubers will make the money required to produce the videos you consume if there were no adverts? £2 per month by pretending to be based in the Phillippines won't cover it.

Yes, adverts are annoying, but I find them less irritating than people moaning about them. smile

Yeah I don’t watch enough to justify £12 - but £2 I can certainly part with.
