News that Eddie Murphy is planning to star in a reboot of the Pink Panther.

I can't see this being good. The Steve Martin versions were terrible, and Murphy's usual on-screen persona isn't exactly a good fit for a bumbling French detective

I was thinking of the pink one used in the TV series when I was a kid when I saw the title.
