I absolutely love this show. As you say, some incredibly talented people from all backgrounds and of all ages. Some of them have had difficult lives and/or disability and yet can create magical music, which this show brings to life beautifully. I can't wait for next week's performance from the Royal Festival Hall, and I suspect I'll be moved to tears, just as I have by each episode so far. Oh, and Claudia Winkleman.......
I haven’t even watched the series but stumbled on it as the wife was watching it after ‘Love it or List it.’
My god…I loved everyone, but watching Lucy…it felt special watching on telly, it must have been breath-taking live in the RFH.
Also it seemed the back stories were handled with sensitivity and tact rather then being exploitative.

What a wonderful, uplifting, good-time-happiness-stuff series that was. Marvellous.
Lucy was my favourite from the start, when she played that Chopin Nocturne so beautifully I cried like a baby. Her performance earlier of Dubussy's Arabesque was astonishing.
The young Scots lad's own composition was fantastic as well, with suggestions of Rachmaninov / Arvo Part / Beethoven / Scott Joplin.
But, yes, I enjoyed every episode.

I've just watched the first two episodes performances. Not for one second do I think i'll see anything better than Lucy. I'm no musician but was totally moved and emotional watching that, and not just because of her disabilities but for the pure sound and amazing skill. To also watch how two professional musicians were totally speechless. Absolutely amazing!!

We watched the same two episodes tonight. One of our daughters is registered blind with global developmental delay too, safe to say it was very dusty for a good few minutes.I commented earlier in the thread about how I was eagerly anticipating the Royal Festival Hall finale, and it didn't disappoint. Amazing performances from all four selected artists, but one stood out as very, very special. Lucy. My word, I was moved to tears, again.
If ever there was a show that encouraged us to see the ability, rather than the disability, this was it. Well done, Channel 4, this was inspirational TV.

Watched the last one last night. how they all matured and improved from their first play in the various stations was interesting. They were all brilliant in their own way. A great stepping stone to a musical career, hope someone picks them all up and nurtures them. Dusty lounge watching them.
There's this class series finding some great talent, or, BGT or X Factor..........
