Shed and Buried
Discussion
New Shed and Buried last night. I enjoyed it and am pleased to see it again. I assumed it stopped because they just ran out of places to visit. Perhaps it did for a while but time's moved on. Henry Cole's silliness and general incompetence seems to work in this programme and made me laugh a couple of times. I think it's just that's just because it contrasts with the all around competence of his mate Lovegrove and there's no competition. Hope the series is a decent length.
Pity Henry & Sam can’t tell the difference between the Reliant Regal & Robin... even with the aid of the latters advert.
Henry’s ‘prat falls’ on most of his series can become a bit tiresome though.
But that said... It’s still an enjoyable hour & Sam is such a clever chap. I was just thinking last night, about him & Ed China presenting a series.

Is this on Quest? I've seen it listed as a new series but Quest tend to do that with stuff they've bought in that was previously shown a couple of years ago on other channels. On that basis I haven't been watching as I thought it was repeats, damn!!
Apols - as Tevavole has said it was on Quest. On Tuesday 17th at 9pm. Still half hour programmes but there were 2 in a row. Usual formula - including people that say they will sell anything they have but when it comes to the crunch have some sort of excuse as to why they cant really sell much at all. Or they ask the price of a mint item for something that's 90% rust.Randy Winkman said:

His persona of now (and looks) is in complete contrast to the shorter haired, and younger and far less silly version and very differently spoken version that first appeared in the Great Motorcycle Rides of the World from over a decade ago or more.....Amazing to think he was once engaged to the model Paula Hamilton of VW Golf advert fame... (before she went off the rails)

Quest and DMAX are the Freeview channels owned by Discovery channel, so a lot of their 'new' stuff filters down from there. They still list it as new if it's the first time it's been broadcast on free-to-air, and that will be the first time that most people will have seen it. Some stuff like Shed and Buried and Salvage Hunters goes straight to Quest first though, so that really is new when they say it is.belleair302 said:
As an Old Etonian Henry has a wide social network and he isn’t doing badly. Has car collection is pretty varied and like Harry M he mixes cars and bikes on his estate. He has a new DBX as a day to day drive plus a number of tasty classics.
His autobiography is worth a read as he has certainly had a colourful past ! Seemed like a decent enough chap and he likes his Landies too aeropilot said:
