Outside of the 'Big Four' of UK Soaps (Maybe Brookside as well) what are some of the forgotten television programmes of the same nature that have been confined to the pages of UK TV history?

I just about remember being bored out of my mind by it, despite it starring Jenny Agutter.

There was one in the early 90s called Riviera which was a Europe wide production. It's so forgotten, that there is little information about it on the net.

Not sure whether Howard's Way counts - what about Triangle? Both nautical-ish.

It only ran from July 92 to March 93. They were hoping for 10 million viewers.

Put that fag out.
In fact, they liked it that much that when Marcus Tandy met his end in it, they actually used a TR7:

Compact - ran from 1962 to 1965 and was devised by the people that brought you Crossroads...

Had quite a cast to - Ronald Allen (The Comic Strip Presents...), Carmen Silvera (Allo Allo), Robert Desmond (The Great Escape) etc

Sons & Daughters, Aussie soap. When one actress was leaving, her character (Patricia) went out and was presumed dead. The character came back as a different actress, explained in the series by plastic surgery and changed her name to Alison. The original actress then came back as the twin sister hehe

What about radio soaps?

I remember one that used to be on Radio 2 called "Waggoner's Walk".
