anyone else watching this new series on Amazon - nice and dark, violent and totally fked up. Quite watchmen-like in concept I guess

Currently watching episode 4.

It is a bit dark, in fact very. But highly watchable.

[edit] I'll say no more other than Dolphin !

Best thing I've watched on Amazon in a while.
The dodgy English accent adds to the appeal.
Some great lines & lol moments.
Fab TV.

I read mixed reviews, so wasn't bothered. After reading this thread, I gave it a go, good enough for me to watch 2 in a row smile

Binged it this weekend and really enjoyed it, great to see the darker side of being a superhero managed by an evil corporation. Lets hope there's a second series, it certainly seemed set up for one.

Heard this is very good, Beyond the Trailer loves it. It's a very similar story to Marshall Law from decades ago.

Binged watched this over the weekend, brilliant show.

If Superheroes really existed, they'd more than likely be like this, not goody two shoes as portrayed in most other films or shows. Brutal, good story and excellently acted, Homelander especially is brilliantly sinister.

Oh and dolphins.

How old is this? The chief exec has a first gen Cayenne from 2010 at best!

Also I don’t get the wild woman who did the nail bar - what’s her story?

Loved the dolphin and stretch Armstrong bloke.

I’m only up to episode 8 but so far they’ve discovered they were taking terrorists and creating super terrorists probably in order to get military contracts
