First episode aired on bbc2 last night, im up to episode 8 . thought it absolutley hilarious and a great concept for a comedy show . great actors too , very dark quite gory in parts . love the relationship between Lazlo and his vampire wife too. anyone not seen it , its well worth checking out. Also the series has just got better as its gone along.

Saw the trailer. It had Matt Berry - usually a good sign - so watched it. Thoroughly enjoyed the first two episodes and looking forward to seeing the rest.

I've just read that a second series has been commissioned, which is good news.

Enjoying it so far; watched the movie a few weeks ago to get ready for it and forgot just how funny and acerbic it is.

Pretty sure they've made another series in the same vain - Wellington Paranormal? But it's not on UK screens yet from what I can tell.

There's also a follow up movie planned - We're wolves but I recall Taika Waititi pouring cold water on the idea of that happening any time soon.

Now leave me to do my dark bidding on the internet.

It's been Americanised! I was so hoping it would be the original actors from the film, they nailed it.

not a patch on the film frown

The actors/characters from the film appear in episode 7 - along with a smattering of fairly big name stars that have portrayed vampires on TV/film! I got the Tilda Swinton link because ive (unfortunately) seen "Suspiria", but had to google why PeeWee Herman was there - didn't realise he was in Buffy.

The fact that the series is a companion to the film - rather than a remake set in America - has cheered me up somewhat, and im quite enjoying it now.

I though the council bit was hilarious, especially when they meet the first council.
I also liked how the vampires had the names of the actors.
