Car Masters: Rust to Riches
Discussion
I'm on episode 2. Enjoying it, although cave man is more show man so far and taking up too much camera time, does that improve?
I also didn't really get why they are trading up done cars for projects rather than just liquidising them, I presume this is a made up business model for the show as it would require too much time and not enough cash flow in reality. Might get away with it a few times saying that though.

Just finished it and hoping for a second series, as mentioned the finish isn't amazing. Canopies on the Hot Wheels car were full of air gaps you could fit a hand through, the paint on the Futura looked terrible on the bonnet when they first rolled it in to the shop.
However, the fit and finish on Ms. Nunes is quite formidable.
Spolling

Hard to watch, caveman comes over as a total tool, overloud, immature and annoying. The woman, has a voice that so so high and whiney, its like torture. The characters detract from the car build, they seem to be brought together to make a fake program. Ok to fast forward through to see what the end result is.
Just started watching the first episode of this.
I think I'm in love with Constance.
But as for the cars... jeez theres some heath robinson stuff going on there. The sheet metal going on the rear deck of the Thunderbird whilst there's open grinder cuts and rust left untreated underneath. Ripping all the wiring out of the Smart car and being surprised when it throws a wobbly......
I'm curious about the D-Reg Defender in the background though... hopefully that doesn't get ruined later on!

Just finished this and it was OK. Ended a bit abruptly though -- a summary of what they'd done and how much they'd made would have been good.
Echo the other people's sentiments about the bubble canopies. Apparently the Futura needed an external microphone so you could hear what was going on outside -- surely you could hear through the massive gap between the canopy top section and the front, or the hand sized gaps between the doors and the canopy?
