Seems AMC will be exclusive to BT
Things seem to be going back to the bad old days of BSB and Sky where both sides will pay through the nose of exclusive rights to certain things and the consumer will end up paying for it.
I don't mind saying, right here and now, that I've been completely against piracy up to now, but I will Torrent the crap out of this, rather than pay twice for Subscription TV.

Yes this is really annoying, we pay enough every month already!!
This sort of thing really grips my st, and backs up my theory that competition isn't always good for consumers, take for example F1 on Sky - it used to be part of the HD plan which most people have I guess, but then they switched it to the Sports Package for new subscribers so if you're an F1 fan you have to pay £25 a month to see all the races live - £300 a year - there's 19 races so that's £15 a race, or if you consider 10 of them are live on the BBC and they broadcast a pretty decent highlights show a few hours later it's £33 per race that's not on BBC to see the action about 4 hours earlier. Not even Bernie could sell that with a straight face no wonder audiences are down in the UK - it's not because F1 costs more, it's because Sky and BT are fighting over football - a sport I don't enjoy and wouldn't pay a penny to see. Sky used to pay £800m a year or so to broadcast the Premier League, thanks to their battle with BT they now pay £1.4bn a year for Football - £25m per year to BBC for F1, £1.4bn to the Premier League - cost to consumers - £25 per month, so if you like F1 and not Football - you're getting appalling value for money and you could argue you're subsidising Football fans.

You won't have to use torrents to watch it. You could likely watch it the day after the first US broadcast on one of the popular streaming sites.Things seem to be going back to the bad old days of BSB and Sky where both sides will pay through the nose of exclusive rights to certain things and the consumer will end up paying for it.

In other news Movies2K became Movies4K and is banned by UK ISPs but I believe it's easy enough to use Hola unblocker to get round this. I also believe alluc.to links to popular streaming videos.
