The last man on earth

Aired yesterday in the states, pilot kicked off with the first two episodes back to back.
Watched it, will continue with the series, very good I thought, my sort of comedy.
Haven't got a clue what this is then here's a link http://m.imdb.com/title/tt3230454/

Just finished watching this series and as others have said, the arrival of January Jones just sent the whole story into creepy-mode.
It got better with the new Phil though, and the ending was pretty decent. I hope they are able to use that ending to good effect next series. There must be an escape pod, so the questions must be whether the people on the ground will find where he lands (or splashes down) and if he can survive the virus.
I love the concept. I would have liked to see Tandy/Phil as a more practical person, to see how he overcame some of the obvious issues about being alone, and maybe spend longer (more eps) in the series exploring that. I'm certain enough comedy could be written into this sort of thing.
A few of us at work have watched this series now which has prompted us all to discuss ways of surviving, where we'd head to, what equipment we'd collect along the way, what car/motorhome etc. Some good ideas. I reckon we're ready for the apocalypse now - although we'd likely not survive the virus in the first place.
