Quite enjoyed it. At least this time more location shooting in Shetland. Last time a fair bit was filmed near Irvine.

I thought that was very good.

Gritty dramas that are well written/acted/filmed make up for most of the dross on television.

Very good. I thought it was very broadchurchy.

So there is a new story next week? (another two parter?).

Yes.

This series is made up of 6 episodes (3 cases).

Thoroughly enjoyed Shetland.

Car anorak question : In the Sunday Times today there's a picture of a crashed yellow car. I can only make out the a-pillar and roof, but the text claims it's a Porsche. I don't recognize the model.... Any clues? (it looks more like a Ginetta G32 on the pic,but there again, it had been crashed....)

Wild guess but looking at the forward-rake of the B post and the width of the front wings beside the bonnet, it's not a very crumpled Porsche 928 is it?

My reply is to Redlake27's car question, Googled the pic he mentioned, it's a promo pic for the show of Dougie Henshall stood in front of the wrecked 928.

Yes it was a very wrecked 928. Started out as a nice yellow 928s4 or poss GTS in the early scenes, but the wreckage was an old 928 that had been re sprayed from silver (complete with teledial alloys).

Good story tonight.

What has happened to John/Bridegroom?

Looking forward to next week.

PS I also noticed difference in the crashed car/roadgoing 928 (different tail light shape in addition to alloys).

Only came across this on I player last night.
Saw the first one "raven" something, so intrigued I watched the second episode there and then
Very very good with an interesting story.
Extremely well done.

Yup excellent series smile

Is it sad that in the 1st five minutes of the 1st episode I mentioned to the wife that he's changed his car from a green Forester to a silver V70? paperbag I'd like to see him do a quick U-turn in that! hehe
