Blackadder Goes Forth

Just finished my annual Blackadder Goes Forth marathon and have to say again that it is one of the finest pieces of television ever produced. I am not ashamed to admit that no matter how many times I see it, the final scenes never fail to bring a tear to my eye. Especially today.

Agreed - I watched the "making of" programme on Blackadder a while ago. How they evolved to that ending was itself quite moving.

You have me wondering whether the making of is included in my (as yet unwatched) boxset? I believe that a remastered boxset was released very soon after mine was purchased, so probably not...

Blackadder - fantastic. Goes forth is definitely the best. What great television!

I doubt if it could ever be bettered, a great series and the end scene is so poignant.
