Looking at the other thread (opps) more people seemed to be bothered about a DJs banter, rather than the records he plays.

Personally I don't mind Moyles, apart from the car park catchphrase bit. Strictly speaking I should be well past listening to Radio 1 being born the same year as the MGB GT but I prefer it to 'death by Radio 2'. I drive over the South with work, so no point tuning into a local station (and my one seems worse than Radio 2 anyway). A customer had a DAB radio where I was working last week and they seemed to play quite a bit of decent music (think it might have been 6 music), but haven't got a DAB in my car either.

I'm not big on Grimshaw myself, so maybe it's time I found something else to listen to on a morning...

he certainly isn't everyones cup of tea, but i liked moyles alot.
thought the breakfast show, and the team did a spot on job. on the whole i don't like the music radio 1 plays of a daytime, but thought the breakfast show was spot on.
you either loved or hated moyles and his team, after whiley left a while back moyles and co were the best thing on, (in my opinion of course.)

luckily i mainly work nights, so listen to a mix of either absolute, or radio 2, i like janice long and alex lester. think the best thing on the radio at the mo, is simon mayos show on radio 2.

I enjoyed his Radio 1 show, I like him a lot and will be sad to see him go. Didn't think much of a lot of the music he played but the banter was good.
