I can't see a thread about this yet so..... Saw the trailer last night in ROTPOTA and Super8, it looks really good! Anyone else with me? I remember watching the original as a small child, say 8 or 9 and being terrified, can't wait to watch it!

Campire stuff is all the rage now so I imagine it will do real well the trailer was confusing to me but I will let you know after this weekend of monday perhaps

Zero build up to this film, straight action from start to finish! Farell plays the part a treat! David Tennent also stars! Good watch 8/10.

I'm also a fan of the original and was looking forward to the remake but a couple of mediocre reviews have put me off.

BTW, Five* are showing the original on Friday 2 September 2011 @ 21:00.
