Anyone watching this? Thugs assaulting vulnerable young people in care homes. Totally disgraceful and very saddening to watch.

Disgusting. I feel sick watching this.

What is Waynes surname? Have they said?

Out of interest of course.

I can not believe that this kind of abuse happens in 2011 Britain!!!!

Why wait for procedures and all the rest of the crap...they have hard evidence, throw the operators out, cancel all their contracts and replace those morons. That is the risk in this kind of business...keep your staff in control and deliver a decent service for the money or else you are out...completely out of the game!

This is just outrageous. I'd happily lock these 'people' up for 25 years for what they've done. Pathetic bullies.

I hope the print media name and shame them.

That poor girl is petrified, holding up her fist as best she can in the only way she can think of defending herself.

I don't think I have ever been made so angry by a TV programme in my life, these carers need taking off and given a good beating.

Absolute inhuman scum and the worst thing is they seem to be enjoying it or using it to pass the time.

I've sat watching this switching from rage to nearly tears back to rage! I'd be more than happy to meet any of the "carers" exposed and take "care" of them.

Probably the most horrific thing I've seen. Absolutely shameful. I hope some serious prison sentences are handed out.

That prat from the department inspecting them made me sick with his trying to weasel out of the fact they can't do their jobs. Here's an idea, when someone tells you that abuse is happening send one of your own staff undercover to find out the truth you incompetent tosser.

Glad to see police are investigating.

I'm so upset I can't even find words strong enough to say what I think should happen to the "carers".

How many more of these places are tucked away behind closed doors??

Absolutely disgusting

The program mentioned the police are now involved, what may they be charged with?

Will it be section 47? So they can only get a maximum or 5 years anyway, assuming its not a suspended repentance?

It has been a long time since A level law but if anyone can tell me what will happen now I will be very interested.

...and this is just one home...

My brothers mate had a 'to-do' at his mum's care home a month or so ago, they found out she was being left alone and not having her clothes changed regularly, so they decided to break up their visits not stick to a schedule and try and keep the home on it's toes to ensure top service all around, by unexpected surprise visits.

Not sure, but consideration must surely be given to their abuse of a position of trust when sentencing.

I do hope that Wayne gets his tattoos examined very closely indeed by his new friends.

Looks like arrests have been made http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-13548222

Let's just hope it actually leads somewhere and these animals are given a suitable punishment or at the very least these creatures are given a taste of their own medicine.
