I say it ever year & it'll always piss me off: Back To School ads before schools have broken-up for the summer. Matalaan this time.
That's to give the parents enough time to kit their offspring out.TCEvo said:

That's to give the parents enough time to kit their offspring out.Not so much specific ads (although there are some that do my head in), but the sheer number and duration of ads on most channels. Is it me or are they continually increasing in number and duration? It's getting to the stage for me that it's hardly worth watching TV any more, as the constant interruptions are too irritating.

What is going on with the Andrex adverts lately?
The latest one with the man in the toilets, who is it at the production company that thinks they are a good idea and signs them off to be put out on air?
Just don't get it, pretentious crap, for something you wipe your arse with! The latest one with the man in the toilets, who is it at the production company that thinks they are a good idea and signs them off to be put out on air?
You run out of bog roll, order one which will take at least fifteen minutes to arrive.
So, you just sit there & wait.
They will even let themselves in & put it on the holder for you.
What a service.

When Tony passed, we wanted to do it his way. All he ever did was talk about "Bike this", "Bike that". That's why I stabbed the bd.
This is an advert I have referenced previously.Ther woman needs to go back to the Co-Op but this time to the opticians dept.
Quite clearly the bloke she met is not the bloke she is sending to the funeral
They are 2 totally different people

If you change channels, the new one is always showing adverts. Anonymous John's law. Milkyway said:
Meta Quest... Or something irrevillent.
Having to to wear VR goggles to assemble a cot.... FFS, give me strength.
Well yes but the current generation don't know how to do most things without googling it or looking up a youtube video. There was another thread in a different section about an issue with car wiring and would the dealers have someone to fix it. No, because dealers are just plug and play merchants and for the same reason as aboveHaving to to wear VR goggles to assemble a cot.... FFS, give me strength.
The days of fixing stuff or knowing how to do stuff without needing the help of the internet are rapidly disappearing, being replaced by the Tik Tok generation. Can it be done in 4 minutes? No? Forget it then

I'm no mechanic by any means and my days of trying to change the oil in a Mk I Capri are long gone
