I can get this free now with my current bank account, is it worth it?
I don't have a 'smart tv' and only have a Virgin tivo box so I guess the only way to access it if I sign up is to sign in via my laptop and plug it into my tv?
It's definitely worth it for free! There's a lot of good stuff on there. And yes, you should be able to output your laptop to the TV with the right cable.I don't have a 'smart tv' and only have a Virgin tivo box so I guess the only way to access it if I sign up is to sign in via my laptop and plug it into my tv?

I am completely unconvinced by S3 of the Bear. Very disappointing.
we really liked s3 better than s2 - until the last few episodes and then it ended, nothing got resolved or wrapped up and i felt they ended up wasting episodes on the "2 comedic guys" and talking to , i assume , real chefs, about how cooking saves lives, the world, the universe, etc etc i would not have minded that if it had gone somewhere.
there were some truly outstanding moments, and Jamie lee curtis shows us how wasted she has been by Hollywood over the years.

Didn't realise it had moved to Apple from Disney+ But I agree S3 was a rather pretentious Amuse-bouche. S1 and S2 were so good. Hopefully S4 is much better.
Nice touch in the last episode having real chef's at the meal.

Anyone watching Dark Matter?
Can't quite figure out whether it's any good but am sort of enjoying it partly because I really can't predict where it's going.
Enjoying it but you do need to turn off part of your brain to enjoy it, (with drugs maybe) it's like 30% plot holed pure trash, 70% decent fun. Can't quite figure out whether it's any good but am sort of enjoying it partly because I really can't predict where it's going.
How many total episodes?
a lot of these type of series now really dont bring anything new to the party, although the ending perhaps will be different, we've seen this in spades recently - dark , mysterious, slow burner scifi that deliberately confuses you until the end (being 8 weeks down the line)....ive just lost interest in these types of things
Originally thought it was going to be a miss but was in fact really rather good. Never really knew exactly what the ending would be.
