On the subject of good acting, Rhys Ifans continues to blow me away. Whilst his character is quite unlikeable (as are most of them to be fair) he was outstanding this week with his dissection of Aegon. Especially his little "You really think that?" at the end.
He’s been great the entire show but unfortunately I will still always see Eye ball Paul

If I could remember who's who and where they all live it would have helped.
And apparently "winter is coming" at the wall. FFS it was coming for 8 series of GOT!

I was baffled, this was helpful

What with the football, the motor cycle racing and now the Tour de France I've cancelled the series link.

It doesn't have anything like the appeal of the original series. Even when that series was slow, there were scenes worth watching in their own right. "Slow" in this series is just slow.

Big GOT fan here but try as I might this series just doesn't do it for me and I struggle with who is who and what is what way more than I ever did on the parent show. A shame.

It did feel like it was yet another episode to give us the motivation behind what will happen, with Rhaenyra now realising Alicent is an idiot and stubborn rather than an out-and-out liar.

I agree that there are a lot of smaller characters that come and go with huge gaps that require you to remember something that happened in one episode a whole series ago to get the significance, it's a lot more confusing than GoT for some reason.

Nice little cameo from Dany's eggs I thought.

I'm really enjoying this. But I did like the book.

I think it suffers from too many simialrly named characters for casual viewers. GoT had fairly clear identities of its main players.

Just setting up important characters (still to see how we deviate from the book here) and preparing for war. Good to see the Harrenhall witch make an appearance too...

Didn't even notice any eggs in the episode, shows how much attention I was paying...
There's too many characters in this show, many of whom look the same and/or have similar names. Rhaenerya has had like what, 6 kids now? I guess the incest doesn't help either hehe
