The whole Gemma and Chesney being broke is a nonsense. Benefits that Chesney and Gemma be entitled to with 5 children would be substantial (they're exempt from two child rule due to multiple births of the quads) Their child benefits alone would be approaching £3000, this is a calculation on Chesney working 25 hours a week at the kebab shop, and Gemma working 20 hours in the Rovers Return. If they earn more (say 30 - 40 hours a week) their UC goes down, if they work less UC goes up. Their combined income and UC ends up around approximately £5,000 pcm. Hardly skint.

She seems to be pals with Sabrina (Max's girlfriend) and she cottoned on that Joel was giving her alcohol.

That's what I thought, but as far as I know she hasn't got any incriminating evidence against him, he should tell her to do one.

Once he gave her that forty quid, she will keep coming back for more.

Yes, they've used her supposedly private diary to announce to one and all about her colourful history. She doesn't mind - she feels so liberated, just like her bank account.

She is 22 but playing a sixteen year old.

Best episode for a long time and the performance by the actress who plays Lauren deserves an award.

Excellent episode tonight and agree, the actress playing Lauren was very good. Actually looking forward to find out what happens next. That’s not something i’ve thought in relation to Corrie for a long time.
