I think I require a laser cutter.......

No real use for it at the moment, but looks rather fun.

best part so far is that little bicycle.

Walkways are boring. I'm sure they could have bought something authentic for far less.

This house is in the same valley as my Dad's house.

Truely epic build. It was an old paper mill, that is the other property behind it.

Have a look at live search map of it. Click the link, then zoom in on birds eys view.

Here is the mill just behind it that was converted in to £600k+ flats...still available!

They haven't mentioned the budget much but must be getting on for a million by now...

So their £1m pad has £400k flats next to it.

Where's the privacy?

I'd say the big winners here are the flat owners. The average value of the plot has gone up substantially.

Notice how similar the windows in the flats are to the House

They do have stunning views down the valley, but the flats are aimed at London city couples...the very life they are escaping!

Nicolas Cage owns this place that is just up the same valley on the right.

See that shower enclosure - it's a Tatami and Bamboo enclosure from Flaminia. I sell them!
Will give you a good discount.

Have to say that's a fantastic conversion which I would genuinely love to own. Full marks to them for having the vision and saving the building. It looks far better than a typical 'Aga saga' barn conversion it could have ended up as.

5 to 10% over budget...

Sweating, swallowing, staring. Do I dedect a lie?!

Also, who's building was it? Their's or the Architect's? All I heard on the walk through was Architect, Architect, Architect...
