I would dearly love to compete in the Mille Miglia, I just think that this twunt would be better suited to the Gumball Rally. rolleyes
You haven't explained why.
Because he seems to be an uncouth, boastful loudmouth, who seems to know nothing about the car he's driving. There are many successful, wealthy collectors of fine automobiles whom I have the greatest respect for, this guy just seems to want to 'flash his cash' on an ego trip 'documentary' to boost his own profile/career.

IMHO

Wasn't funny the first time....

Skylinecrazy, I'm with you, fail to see the point in peoples arguements (if you can call them that) that simply say its st, and then fail to back it up with any form of explination....yet they're continuing to sit there watching it and moan on here about how st the programme is.

But like what has been said to them, (if you don't like it don't watch it)....if you don't like whats being said in here....don't click on the thread, I know I'm not doing....wasted a good five/ ten minutes reading peoples opinions on someone they only know through an edited TV programme.....

So he's got an ego.........Big deal. I'd love to do that and if I'd just spent the thick end of £800K on a motor I'd be getting arsey about where they stuck cameras to it.

The guy is a petrolhead of monumental proportions. Good on him. I just wish I had that sort of money to be able to do what he's done.

with this classic an engine would you run it in or thrash the nuts off it in a race when it's just been rebuilt.

How much did he pay for the rebuild.. ???

I dont see what all the tears are about...

...can't he just come back next year with a well tested, properly shaken down car that he knows inside out?... too sensible?

Yup. Thats pretty heartbreaking.

But, doing the 1000miles, on an engine that has only covered 200 miles!? Bloody hell, they could have run it in a touch longer before he got his hands on it, surely!

Feel for him - looks like he made the wrong choice early on.

Would have gone for the co-driver rather than the model myself.

Love the cars, I love Italy, but he's done his self no favors, very large ego.
