Is Dr Who a kisser, traditionally?
I’m far more concerned with him crying at every opportunity.

Only took 30 years for Dr Who to catch up with Brookside.
Yes, but Anna Friel. Normal rules do not apply.

Certainly enjoyed the Legend of Ruby Sunday. Intriguing developments and a good cliffhanger.

Just came to post the same thing
I think its one of the best first part of 2 parts season finales since the revival
I doubt that most people would work out who the "villain" really is there are scant clues and the reveal is very good

Better than it has been but still just a lot of drawn out waffle and too much music over everything before it eventually got to the reveal.

Well I watched it as people said it was good. It was better than the others I've seen, but that's not saying much. The overall impression I'm left with is, what an overacting drama queen. A shame as I thought he could've been a very good Doctor.

Overall, I quite enjoyed yesterday's episode; the best of the series so far, imho.

However, the four-eyed hell-hound deity/demon thing didn't look that scary or intimidating for something that is supposedly capable of and intending to end all life in the universe.

Also, there was the Doctor asks someone to do something, they get killed, Doctor says "I'm sorry", carries on without an apparent care, which seems to happen quite often.

Apart from the bit where he sat on the ground crying, wracked with guilt you mean?

I can recall watching the Tom Baker series that introduced the character who has returnes
It was definitely creepy and I think its one of the very besty that Tom Baker did. The original characters voice was so silky and memorable

Not sure why but I did see a bit of it tonight.
Thought I had gone back in time with Bonnie Langford and a fire breathing K9
Not sure what age level is ok for this show but some of it was quite disturbing

I missed the fire-breathing K9. Saw Sutekh though.

I saw the episode yesterday evening. Were you watching a different episode?

One of the few classic who episodes I've seen prior, but they're on iPlayer if you want to rewatch.

It was the same guy doing the voice. Now in his nineties.

I'm catching up slowly, I watched 73 yards last night. It was excellent. I'll watch more now, and live with the weaker ones.
