Only took 30 years for Dr Who to catch up with Brookside.

Wasn't it his first ever kiss? I'm not a Dr Who expert.

But it fits so well and may be annoying to you but not me.

Out, zone and mall are the most annoying three words for me.

I'm sure Paul McGann kissed the doctor that revived him in his film, caused some controversy IIRC

Why? I don't need to. If you need to just google "define woke" and I'm sure you'll get all the answers you're looking for. smile

You think the word is appropriate in this context. Presumably you have an idea of what it means. Google will give me countless different definitions.

Yes I think the word appropriate in the context of how the poster used it. If you think it's not appropriate then you're welcome to explain why. I might even agree with you. smile

I didn't express an opinion either way. Somebody told you they thought it was annoying, you said it was appropriate. I was leaning into the 'fact' that many people define it differently.

I admit, I'm annoyed by the way it's so often used to try to shut down a discussion, but I don't actually care.

Of course not. It's a by-the-numbers children's show.

I didn't watch it. smile

Woke in this context doesn't really apply.

Two blokes kissing is perfectly normal, so it forms part of the character and story arc.

Captain Jack Harkness kissed the Doctor on the lips in “The Parting of the Ways” back in 2005.

Don’t watch doctor who. So I haven’t seen the kiss. Did he ask the other person for consent first, or is this a rape scenario?

Absolutely correct.
It was done with no fuss and from memory didn't attract much outrage.
