Have we located it yet? I'm in Kent, haven't seen any reference points yet.

nicest most genuine couple of the series so far (IMHO)... hope the roof doesn't collapse with that gravel...

anyone got a source or more info on that resin flooring? Possible cheaper alternative to the white quartz tiles we're looking at.. No paper clips though, thanks.

I wouldn't like to fall down those stairs.
that's what amazes me about these places. Sooner or later the kid will run to the stairs and get a face full of brick or slip on the eco-glass (read rock hard) diamond-polished floor and a trip to A&E will ensue. Plus the report to the school and social for the injury (it's procedure for children attending A&E). Eco friendly but a toddler's nightmare.

Love the arch and the stairs, not sure about the garden shed exterior.

How do you pay a large mortgage if your total earnings drop by 2/3 ? confused

not sure about certain details (like the flange on the underside of the handrail to the stair and the stair itself) but that's one great house

Impressive view of the arch from the interior.
A stunning design - and the couple seem alot nicer and less arrogant than those that tend to be on.

1800 quid back a year and NO heating bills.

I'm sold on that..!! I think I've found the architect I want for my next house.

Blimey, £1800 back a year. Can't argue with that. Although at £445K for the house, it'd better be standing for the next 250 years!

does it matter - the world is full of hard surfaces

I'm certainly not going to design my house with toddlers in mind

mmm quite like that! - The red brick walls on the outside could do with a render though.

... far better than last weeks effort!

Loved the guy's attitude.

Not so keen on the result, but it would photograph well in the AJ and its ilk.

£43K on triple-glazing? yikes

Is that where the Teletubbies live?

Entertaining though...

Nope. Didn't do it for me. Looked like a garden cloche or an old raf base.

but its fine becuase they get 1800 back and live in a considerable more eco house than yow! How exactly does that work, they get 1800 from the government?

I like certain features but dont think the internal (or external front hut add-on) boxy layout does it justice.
