Just finished "The Offer" which is about the making of "The Godfather". A fascinating story and I really enjoyed it.

Also watched S3 of "Yellowstone" which did not disappoint.

Really enjoying Ray Donovan, watched season one over last few days. Obviously it is absolutely ridiculous and all of the characters are stereotypes but it's easy watching with sone decent lines.
Loved Ray Ray, it's a great program.

I thought "The Offer" is the best series I've seen in a long time. Great actors acting greatly with a cracking story.

well looks like La Brea has now dropped on P+: can't say that E1 has overly grabbed me. The SFX were dreadful, the acting ropey and it seems to be a "spot what series/film this has been taken from" competition (a LOT of Lost)

Finished S3 of YellowStone - brilliant and the camerawork + scenery is astonishing. Genuinely has made me want to visit the place.

Currently working my way through The Offer - this is a Gem, so well cast and written. I find it hard not to keep checking out the names and events in IMDB and constantly wonder just how far they went with the dramatisation. I love the Godfather saga so was a little worried they would butcher it but so far so good.

The app on SkyQ needs work though. Constant errors which mean i need to go back to the home area and launch it again. Then when you do that it resets the position you were at in any given episode. It feels like the timeout setting is too low and it craps out while it waits on a response from the platform. Another 5 seconds or so before it throws an error would make a difference i feel. It works seamlessly on iPad.

Sweet! I hope it maintains the momentum - i can see it slowing down and becoming a bit stale.

Any further news on the release of 1932/1923 or whatever they’re calling it now? Harrison Ford/Helen Mirren.

There’s that danger. Tbh I thought S2 was the best so far though

Watched the lot including the film, liked some seasons more than others, thought Jon Voight was brilliant as Mick and Eddie Marsden wonderful as the brother Terry. Schrieber can actually really act and you saw that maybe twice over all the seasons smile The episode where Abbie left was brutal, heartbreaking and emotional. We were jist talking about it yesterday, no spoilers but it had to end the way it did after the film, Ray didn't deserve anything else.

Just finished Halo, although it seems as though I’m the only one on the planet who enjoyed it. Just starting Strange New Worlds so we’ll see how that goes, although so far any peril seems easily solved and everyone’s happy in time for the next episode far too quickly: it’s no TNG (yet).

Trouble is, it’s only recently that a load of Marvel stuff was dumped onto Disney so after ploughing through Daredevil and Jessica Jones I’m still only 2/3 of the way through Luke Cage before it’s Iron Fist, Punisher, the rest of Miss Marvel etc etc.

There’s too much!!

nope I too enjoyed Halo - but then again I haven't played the games, looking forward to S2. Regarding SNW I really enjoyed the whole series (though I didn't particularly take to E8).
