Never had much interest in off road/4X4 stuff, but I’m sure some people have; we can’t all like every episode.

Question, for the ‘off roader’s’, why stainless steel as apposed to a strong plastic, for the snorkel?

So they could powder coat it for tv.

IMO, the snorkel looked more like, what the Americans call a ‘stack’ (an exhaust) on big rigs or whatever they call them. I would have thought off the shelf kits would have available.

I don't mind watching some off roading here & there, but not when it's taking up what seems to be forever of the episode!

Agree that is why I now record it and watch it later, FF the boring bits of which this series seems to be getting larger.

Boils down to cost, book film crew and drive into bush, record enough to produce a segment, they can control the time spent on filming, alternative is to have film crew standing about while various parts are removed, then returning when parts have been purchased, the crew wait while it is reassembled with more standing about as the assembly is not shown in real-time.

Boils down to cost?

Given that they were, supposedly, building a vehicle that would be used by "city slickers" who wanted to drive through the Australian outback, I was a little surprised that they bought a manual petrol Hilux. smile

Is there any love for the Sandman tribute?

I thought it was pretty good. The price of the lowering springs seemed crazy though. Didn't he say that they were 1100 Australian Dollars / £500

Not really. They aren't a pretty thing and doing a "tribute" using a cheaper car made me cringe. The springs seemed a bit of an odd choice too, as they didn't make much of a difference and did stand out in all the rusty bits under the car.

Not sure Elvis is actually human. He walked from the sea after "surfing" but wasn't wet and he can work on cars without getting oil on his nice clean t-shirts. Not even sure he works down our chip shop.

You never ever actually see him do anything apart from selecting a random tool from an immaculate toolbox/chest and tighten/loosen a nut.....Ed China, we miss you.

No we don’t…elvis will do just fine.

The only sandman I’ve ever heard of is metallica!

Well that was different and a first, no spoilers.

Too much time wasted on trivia, not much work seen although what Elvis did do? Was interesting.

Gods sake Mike, no wonder you are putting on the weight, the food they ordered would have kept me in food for a week, and don’t talk with your mouth full punch

Awesome car if owner does get the power he wants.

At least Mike is trying to keep the programme going and not running out of ideas although we might not like all of them.

Disappointing episode that was basically a vehicle for a YouTubers channel, how can they dedicate a whole show to that and there’s no outcome at all.

Also what’s the unlimited top speed of a P1 anyway. Probably above 230mph, so with the right tyres how far are they from their 251 target, probably not far off.

Didn't do anything for me, but then I've never been arsed about Youtubers repairing supercars (though I do know of him) Fairplay for trying something different though and it'll drive traffic to his channel I'm sure.
