Interstellar

I'd never seen it before. I know there was supposedly a lot effort to make the science right with Kip Thorn consulting on it, but it seems they spent all the effort getting the right idea about the effect of gravity on time, and not anything else. So many plot holes and then it just descends in to general weirdness near the end.
thing with this movie is when i watched it at the cinema i sort of guessed almost right away what was going on with the book case - and after that i just got so bored - the best thing about them was the Robots - so that says a lot about the movie plot itself.

I'm Thinking of Ending Things

Just dont bother, it's over 2 hrs of absurd naval gazing that tries to use similar mental gymnastics as the shining, but fails miserably.

Bill and Ted: Face the Music

Binged I & II last night with my daughter in readiness for this tonight.

It might be my favourite one. Certainly better than II.

It sensitively done, so if you're a fan you'll enjoy it.

It's a good, easy and amusing watch. 7.5/10

Ha, it's not bad. I'm not a massive fan of B&T generally (Waynes World all the way for me), but it's ok and reasonably inoffensive.

Sounds encouraging, as above the trailer looked dreadful.

B&T to whip WW's ass all day!

The Dead Zone (1983) Horror Channel

Motorist wakes from a coma with the ability to see an individuals future.

Cronenberg directing from a Stephen King story, predictable but entertaining stuff w/ Christopher Walken class (as (almost) ever) in the lead.

First Man

Movie about the life of Neil Armstrong and his involvement with the Gemini and Apollo programs. He clearly had someone looking over him from above if you believe in that. or 9 lives. To keep doing the things he did time and time again takes balls the size of Jordan’s Tits.

I very rarely watch a movie twice. Never mind in quick succession. So that says something.

A very solid 9/10. I docked it a Mark because it has some typical Hollywood over dramatisation at points I felt weren’t needed to convey the story but that’s just my opinion.

Very good film, I've seen this many times over many different years since release, it still stands up.

I was amazed at how dull they made Neil look, I wasn't impressed.

Watch Apollo 11 (on Netflix) if you want to be impressed. It's astonishing. https://youtu.be/sKWKjKtkwxk

I’ve just finished watching this minute. Mission Control-The unsung heroes of Apollo

This is actually a documentary not film but definitely worth a watch if the space thing interests you. From the point of view of Mission Control.

You’re welcome. I’m not seeing anything of Apollo 11 on Netflix, are you UK based or is it Netflix USA etc you watched it on.
