Got 3 months free with a new phone so obv Ted Lasso first, enjoyed it very much. Was a bit bored so flicking through and came across "The line" Wow - absolutely brilliant. 4 1hr episodes about the Navy seal who (allegedly) killed an ISIS prisoner in their compound, mostly told through interviews with those involved and headcam footage - great show.

A good few months back but it’s ok.

Not great, but if there’s nothing else on it’s all right.

It is

It would be a dull world if we all liked the same things. People enjoy Ted Lasso, I thought it was dire.

OH thought The After Party sounded OK, so we gave it a go. Ended up binge watching the first 4 episodes. We quite enjoyed it as it doesn't take itself too seriously.

Enjoying suspicion but it gets pretty low ratings on IMDb.

Severance. Very cool
Only two in but liking this a lot. Really interesting plot. Beautifully shot and Directed by Ben Stiller in a Kubrik-esque / Scandi Noir manner.

I had to check and see if Adam Scott wasn't Tom Cruise's younger brother - some striking similarities!

Slow Horses. Really enjoyed the books and this is a decent adaptation with a great cast. Looking forward to the rest.

Another vote for Slow Horses - two episodes in and looking very promising.

Really captures the atmosphere of the books and a fantastic cast.

Also loving Slow Horses- Oldman is class; great juxtaposition with his George Smiley.

Only just got round to (binge)watching Tehran, which I also thought was pretty excellent.

Joining the Slow Horses love-in here - it's cracking. Captures the same feeling as reading the book... very impressed so far.

I'm a big fan of TTSS with Oldman so wanted to like it but just didn't get on with Slow Horses at all. Reminded me slightly of 90s BBC drama 'Spooks', again highly mediocre. Shame.

Is this first series based on the first book of the same name or are there other parts of the other books in there too?

(I have only read ‘Slow Horses’ so don’t want to watch this if it ruins my enjoyment of the other books…)

I understand this six parter covers the first book. They’ve also filmed the second book as another six parter. Not sure if these run back to back. More in production.
