The Corrie money tree in action again. It’s been keeping the unemployed factory workers going for months and hasn’t stopped them from drinking in the Rovers most days and eating at Roy’s
To be fair, they only go to the pub and Roys on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday Escort3500 said:

To be fair, they only go to the pub and Roys on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday Janet Kay's Silly Games followed by Junior Murvin's Police & Thieves at Ed's party. A musical high for Corrie. But alas it led to a furious row with the wife over whose Police & Thieves was the best, Murvin or The Clash. We spend most of 1977/8 having the same row, and we didn't resolve it then either. We were 16 & 15. (we weren't married then btw, just mates.)

I was hoping for some Prince Buster. Shows my age......Takes me back to my Ben Sherman button-downs and Staprest trousers. Ravel loafers. Silk hankie in jacket pocket. The whole Mod thing was wrecked by the skinheads and their Doc Martens/braces/those green shiny bomber jackets. They really didn't "get it".

Anyone notice Bethany said someone was, "fannying about". Is that allowed on prime time TV?
Why not? Here's where it comes from.http://www.bbcamerica.com/anglophenia/2012/01/fras...
It's nothing to do with lady gardens.
