Can't agree, read his book and it shows he's a car nut (if not to say geek). Problem with this programme is the moron who scripted the voiceover, the idiots guide to cars.
my thoughts too ... we are enjoying the show smile

I thought his passion was supposed to be for cooking? I think his passion is for being a celebrity and making money. His column in one of the Sunday newspapers is notably bad. He attempts to write in Clarkson's style and really doesn't get it.

To be fair, if anyone tried to stick tape on the cerb, I'd be having words, let alone a car like that...

(but I am a bit of a control freak!)

Crikey - a multimillionaire chef who's something of an egotist and, even more amazingly, is twitchy about folk sticking cameras on his £1m car.

Didn't see that coming myself.

He is a cock, mind.

He can be as huge a car fan as you or anyone else wants him to be, doesnt make much difference to me.

More "MEMEME" than any real interest in the event itself and wanted to bag himself a token dolly to "do the map reading poppet"

I had no idea he was a chef until just now

As a petrolhead, I'm enjoying this program much more than Top Gear. I'll admit to being envious of the guy being able to buy such an expensive car over the phone, but that doesn't make me think he's a cock. If I was in his position I reckon I'd be doing the same.

To be honest it did seem a bit cringeworthy after totally rebuilding a 600K car... then make an arse of the graphics and scrawl on the dash rolleyes

It's always difficult for British people to watch rich people being themselves. Whether on TV or in reality, it just grates. I'm sure Americans would watch this and think what a great bloke he is...

And what's wrong with his attitude exactly?

Nothing.
