Tories tough on crime. I can post links to live streams from inside prison now. Been going on years. Got worse since privatisation.

Can you get in if you're over 30?

CNN Travel ‘the media that just keeps on giving’

Inflight ‘raw dogging’: The bizarre new travel trend that’s creating a buzz

Stop sniggering at the back, it’s not what your, over fertive imagination, is conjuring up.

Michael Ceely once spent a four-hour flight just zoning out – no magazines, no movies, no podcasts, just looking out the window and watching the flight map. Branding it with Bro speak ‘raw dogging’ makes the challenge more acceptable.

The trend has been popular on social media, with TikTok users one-upping each other for who has gone the longest stretch with the fewest amenities. A British DJ with the handle oiwudini got 1.3 million likes on a video where he bragged about traveling on a seven-hour flight without headphones, sleep or other creature comforts.

FFS, back in the day it was called, doing SFA; nobody cared.

As Hawk Thua girl moves over, a new viral lady is in town. The wandsworth prison guard.

Enjoy the 15 minutes. Make as much money as you can!

Twenty years ago if you knew somebody with a short attention span & obsessed with short video clips you'd have assumed they were of low intelligence.

In fact, twenty years ago if you had heard somebody described as 'cant go ten minutes with something to watch'. You would also have assumed they were a bit dumb.

Internet peaked at the point it was three sided. The world's biggest business directory / playground / information sharing and resource centre.

Then, along came social media.

I do assume that about you all. Apparently you all have fk all lives and are sad enough to watch/know about this stuff.
The only reference I’ve got from this thread is the Fenton one and that’s 10yrs ago.
Helpful hint - get off social media.

That whole video looks very much like it was filmed and released for a publicity push for her.

Well, the Wealdstone Raider raised a whole load of money for Great Ormond Street, so at least some oddballs do some good smile

Who the American or the prison guard?

The prison guard has probably released it, so she can push her OF, it might back fire if she gets time but if she doesn't it will be worth it, her OF subscriptions have probably doubled if not trebled.

Depends how you look at it.

If the Hawk Thua girl can monetize her 15 minutes she could make a fortune.
She (Hailey Welch) has already released a line of merch (including Hawk Tuah 24 signed trucker hats for $50 and t-shirts etc) and recently appeared on stage with country singer Zach Bryan in Nashville. She seems to be doing ok with it all at the moment.

That video is the reason I'm squeamish around blood, and it must have been 10 years since I last saw it.

Hawk Tuah girl just seemed like a good laugh.

Moving this to TV, Film, Video Streaming & Radio? A tad overzealous, no?

The discussion is as much a social one as it is related to the medium itself, imo.

The Lounge was a perfectly sensible place for it.

Indeed. Now *that* is what social media is really for: moaning about social media users. 80% of all content is now self referential. Pop culture will eat itself. Then something else will happen.
