You’re definitely not going to like season 3 episode 1 then…
I wasn't impressed. I thought it was self indulgent crap.

It’s the only S3 episode I have watched so far. (I am trying to make the new series last by not binging it).
It did occur to me that it it was the first episode someone watched they probably wouldn’t get to the end of it and if they did they wouldn’t be rushing to see episode two.
Fortunately, for me at least, the show has built up enough good will to let it off the odd indulgence.
I’m really hoping the series doesn’t feature a day out on Lake Michigan with Richie having a water skiing competition with a local bully.

Just started season 3 and BOOM! Episode one just went straight into the feels.
I'm not going to blitz it. I'm going to savour every damn moment.

Series 3 episode 1 was unusual but absolutely brilliant. Perfect set up for the rest of the series.

It’s like fine dining. If you want a burger, it’s not going to hit the spot but if you’re in the mood for something exquisite, indulgent and pretentious, it’s worth a star or three.

9 down yesterday... one left for today!

Massive drop off in story telling and pacing for me. The character arc/growth last season was so relentless.

This season could just be the same day, where nothing really happens. Think I'd be more inclined to watch a series about Richie.

Thoroughly disappointed, to be honest. Will probably check back in after the finale and have changed my mind (I hope) biggrin
