We are just mid way through the first season and all the bloody actors have changed!! Ok, not all, but a number of key ones... I'm surprised they didn't just make them look older... Now they all look completely bloody different. Annoying.

I’m guessing they might have got away with one 5 year time jump but a second might be a stretch.

One bit I don’t get is why Kirsten got pardoned by the queen for murdering a lad and also sleeping with the princess?

Really enjoyed the last moments of the king. Calm before the storm.

Yes, it does look like they throw in something to deliberately shock you. There was something else in an earlier episode that I've forgotten.

The Queen could see use in Criston, he's an invaluable ally and now forever in her debt. We know from GoT that loyal allies can prove fairly advantageous.

Have to say I thought episode 9 was brilliant. The musical score was brilliant all the way through.

There are about forty seven other GOT themed shows in the works, marvel style . Which is welcome.

In the books apparently the two houses look very similar. So I’m wondering if there was the same “everyone knows they are bds” theme?
