Sarah N Tuned (I know, controversial sub, but the content is interesting, and the delivery is unique) has just bought an Audi Coupe Sport too - not the SWB, but still a very very special car

Just checked and nice to see Dialynx are still around, i wonder if they still do the SWB conversions.

Why is controversial? Have I missed something?
The channel previously followed their transition from male to female. Then was rebranded as a car show.

I don't watch EB, Hoovie said it was just a coincidence and he got the idea from the others, Tavarish is trying to buy a fire damaged Veyron I think.
Richard Hammond, Chandler Smith, Watch JR Go, Goonzquad and even Heavy D amongst many others selling up. My thought was they are just selling while prices are strong and expecting a drop soon.

OMI in a hellcat's will probably all be for sale soon too....

I've watched her for a couple of years now and didn't know her history till last year I think? It didn't / don't care either way though.

Hammond's sale was well publicised to fund his new business for his new TV show, and was apparently only a small part of his collection.

Likewise, I started following around the time the Focus rally car project started - I'm not shallow enough to be bothered about the biology behind the channel presenter, but I know there was an online drama about it in many forums when her background became more apparent.

I watch the channel for interesting entertainment, and it delivers.

But why are they doing this? Its weird EB, Tavarish and Tyler are all selling their cars at the same time?
I don't watch EB, Hoovie said it was just a coincidence and he got the idea from the others, Tavarish is trying to buy a fire damaged Veyron I think.

Setting aside their YT personalities, they're in the business of selling views, likes and subscriptions, not cars per-se. It's another quick win for them, "I'm selling all of my cars" makes for a hell of a title, so they all jumped on the bandwagon.

In the end, Tyler didn't really sell any cars he really likes, but he used the attention to sell the cars that have run their course for him, he typically gets 2 or 3 videos out of a 'hooptie' buy "the cheapest in the US..." give it to Ninja / Wizard for the bad news, hold head in hands. Pick it up when it it's fixed and then park it in the garage/hanger. Once it's done it's of little use to him financially, he's better off selling it to free up space / cash for the next one. The market in the US like here is crazy at the moment.
Exactly right. It's not a mystery, once they've run their course for the initial purchase / fix videos they then just become a financial liability. Sitting around not generating any revenue.

If the car isn't making any content, it's costing them money to keep.

I wonder about Tim's sometimes.. when was the last time he did a video on the Orange Focus for M3 or example?

Must be costing him money to keep (finance, maintain) and with no revenue coming in... whats the point?

Tim has said the Focus is a keeper, I suspect the M3 and Yaris will be going soon but you are right his costs per month must be bonkers plus over £100k a year for the unit.

Fuel costs must stack up as well, £150 to just fill the G63 up from the video last night and every car has a full tank.

I would be surprised if 'every car has a full tank'. All in one place surely that is a fire risk and I would be surprised if his unit insurers didn't try and limit the amount of fuel on site knowing that he is storing cars there.

I don't see why. I have stored a car at a professional car storage facility before and I was never asked to run the fuel down/only have it 1/4 full etc. If the building is burning enough to cause each cars tanks to explode then the whole place is already lost anyway.

As someone said above, the market in the US is crazy right now, even worse than UK, so now is a really prime time to be selling.

I see from Harry's latest video that Mike Brewer is also selling a few of his personal cars, and Harry himself is selling a couple of his Dakar bikes.

And his Esprit, although that’s being replaced with an Emira.

Rumours starting to filter through yesterday about a YouTuber's female friend allegedly being exposed for servicing someone else's big end. I have more details, but am not willing to post them here. Anyone else heard this?

No and where do such rumors exist? On youtube comments or on another forum?

It will probably gain momentum over the next 24 hours. The recipient of the big end service is named and the fate of the YouTuber's female friend is highlighted. I've seen a screen shot from a mobile phone's "whatsapp" group which was posted online detailing the alleged sequence of events. Whether it is true or not, I am not qualified to say.
