Anyone watching Foundation?

It looks beautiful, high production values as you'd expect. I'm only 1 episode in, will watch more though its not currently a must watch.

Yes. Takes a few to get going and rather rapidly seems to diverge from the book (first book) but I wouldn't let that stop you. I think it's getting going pretty well now.

Invasion is off to a good start, waiting for the War of the Worlds comparison to arrive but hopefully better than we had past few years
It’s slooooooooow so very slow.
Just watched the first episode of invasion. Slow is right and quite boring. reviews don't seem to be all that favourable.

Might try "for all man kind" next.

Watched first 2 episodes of Invasion, is it me or is everything too dark?

First two episodes are very slow. The third finally gets going - I wondered where the hour went!

Just finished episode 1.

There’s setting the scene and there’s this. Literally nothing happened. They’d better up the pace, this was like watching paint dry…

Same here. I’ll give it a couple more episodes but episode 1 was very, very dull.

I don't know is this is just my app version (Samsung TV built in) but the + app is terrible at remembering which episode you are on and even worse if you stop partway through.
Tonight I had to wind through one episode to find my place and then when the next one started it was back at the beginning of the previous episode.
This doesn't happen on Netflix, Disney or Amazon.

We have a roku and the apps are usually as good a version as you can find.

The resume/last watched behaviour you describe happens all the time for us too, so not just your platform, it appears apple have just not bothered to make it work properly.

Annoying though when you come back to something after a couple of weeks away and look at each other and say, have we watched this one?

The refusal of Apple + to remember where we were up to is absolutely infuriating. I can't believe they've not sorted it out, given their general excellence when it comes to the user experience.

Finch - Jesus that was boring - was looking forward to it as the trailer looked quite good. The start was okay, but after about an hour it seemed to be going nowhere, so found something more interesting to do. Maybe it got better after that but I couldn’t watch any more - Couldn’t get past the robot sounding exactly like Borat neither…

They want you to buy the dedicated apple tv box that does remember and does have ability to show all extras on purchases via store

Nope. Another turkey.

All you missed is a dog playing fetch. Seriously.

I have no issues with TV+ remembering where I am up to either in a series or within an item. Running on a Chromecast with Google TV here.

We'll have to disagree, I liked it. It's a twist on a coming of age story and Hanks, as ever, is fantastic.

Interesting, thank you. We use an up-to-date Firestick running on a modern Philips TV and if it is paused long enough to 'go to sleep' then it loses track of everything - which episode AND the position within it. Infuriating.

Think today's the day I finally give up on Invasion. Gave it a long enough try out but today's episode was abysmal.
