If it was a small wedding, no formal bridesmaids etc., and the bride and groom rode in the Vitesse, why did they need the DS420?

Absolutely superb acting by Sinead and Daniel there, Coronation Street at it's finest.

FFS! Why so many put-downs on here?!
It's not meant to be a docu-drama, it's light entertainment!
The cock ups and 'artistic licence' just add to the fun!
Agree, too many complain when there is nothing to moan about - like pointing out that Sineads cancer had been mysteriously cured when it's reflected real life pretty well, also getting bored of plots after 10 minutes.

Do we think there’s a remote possibility that Michelle will find the dog tag in the near future?
"What's this dog tag I've found?"

"Ooooh .... it's for one of the guys in Stoke."

"Ahh, righteo."

Well , I think we just saw the soap actor and actress of the year winners last night . I seemed to have something in my eye - oddly enough so did my OH .

When it's this good you almost can forgive it some of the absurd plots and plank like acting earlier this year. Last night showed you don't need blues and twos, or fights or fires, just two good actors with enough time to breathe life into a good script .

As already said, it was a brilliant performance by Sinead & Daniel.

Yes it was, even though it's only a soap it was very sad and quite moving.

Meanwhile there was absolute comedy gold on ye olde Corrie on ITV3 yesterday, in the shape of Jack and Vera and a debt to be cleared up at Alf's old Mini Market.

Cue some stirring by Des Barnes and J&V are convinced the heavies are after them.

The writers really don't do comedy like that anymore! biglaugh

Always thought Daniel was a good actor, but not Sinead, but was proved wrong. She was great. The bit where she starts punching herself in the head, I can imagine I would have done just that, if I'd made an error so bad that it was going to cost me my life at the age of 25.

A great message in the script, where she says "I listened to an idiot and tried to cure myself by eating kale." Quite right too. I hope some alternative medicine loons with serious illnesses were watching, and maybe jack it in and get some proper treatment

Agree. Same for Roy and Hayley story a few years back. Both pathos and comedy gold hidden in Corrie beneath the crap stories and acting. That's why we all keep watching!!

2 hotpots and 2 lemonades £14.20 are we at the Ritz? I’m guessing £5 each hot pot and £2.10 a lemonade - that’s not really backstreet £

You could well be right. But either way, peddlers of homeopathy and other crackpot nonsense must be furious, which is a good thing in my book.

Sophie appears to be wearing massive winter coats and getting bigger, assume she's up the duff and leaving with the "university" storyline pending?

Eddie’s wife throwing a big party when they were totally skint a week ago. It just annoys me.

Loving Siobhans acting.

The Corrie money tree in action again. It’s been keeping the unemployed factory workers going for months and hasn’t stopped them from drinking in the Rovers most days and eating at Roy’s smile
