I do look back at these cars and think they're hideous, but at least they were a showcase of the talent it takes to build one.
Agreed, and considering the amount of money they spent on them they might as well have bought a decent car in the first place.Imagine the amount of money you would lose on one back in the day if you wanted to sell it, assuming you could find someone to buy it.

It was a great scene back then and I love the enthusiasm and dedication people put into their projects.

Max Power, the one where they would cajole 16 year old girls to get their tits out in a car park on a Friday night. Not at all creepy.
Yeah but most of them probably looked about 36 given the location and demographics of those cruises. And have you seen what goes on in most dark car parks these days? Max Power of today would just be full of shots of furious dogging going on.
Innocent times!

I think it would have been a great achievement amongst the scene to get your car on the cover (especially the same car in several iterations) I did go to one of their events years ago and it was great seeing them all close up, and the enthusiasm everyone had.
I'm glad that the cars existed then and that some still survive I'm also glad that there have been reunion shows recently

Disgusting. I wonder if you can still buy old copies on eBay or somewhere

Hard to believe it was 'only' 25 years ago.

ISTR the profile questions were 'pink or brown' and 'spit or swallow'Hard to believe it was 'only' 25 years ago.
Those were the three I remember.
Which as a fairly naive 15/16yo I didn't really know what they were getting at

Am I missing an in joke? Both released at 1800, 2 orange cars, 2 yellow tops, 2 black caps worn back to front.
Just seen in my suggested that Chris' video has now done 1.1 million and his Temu part 2 500k!- ones on 26k views and the other is exactly a tenth
Easily one of his best performing series, he must be pleased he took the gamble - some of the earlier vids weren't doing any better than his cheaper projects. Although personally it's had something missing and hasn't really grabbed me.
