So commenting about him is his Achilles heel?thegreenhell said:

Maybe he was upset because nobody was talking about him on here, and this is all just to get people talking about him.Rusty Old-Banger said:

shortly after making a big deal about buying it and got blocked - some of them really do have very thin skin for people who want to be in the public domain!
I must say I've never really understood this logic. If you were sat in a pub having a drink and somebody came over and sat at your table and started being unpleasant to you and asking how you really earnt a living would you just A) accept the fact that because you've sat down in a public place you've opened yourself up to this or B) would you just tell them to p![](/inc/images/censored.gif)

I agree, a number of people on this thread seem to think that someone "in the public domain" means that you can openly slate them about their apparence, finances and their personal relationships.
Sad & pathetic
Agree, but haven't seen much of it tbh. Most just comments about sSad & pathetic

Personal comments are off limits IMO. Same for partners etc. play the ball and not the man.
But comments on content. Fair game. If you put it out there expect to have people run it down. Same as with TV and radio. As long as they’re not personal you’d have to rise above it and absolutely not start messaging people on other platforms.

As someone who grew up in the Max Power era I really enjoyed the latest TDC video. I have a friend who is into modified cars, I wonder if I can get him a copy of that DVD.......
Ditto, that car was a throwback to my younger years. I remember replacing the photo of a Testarossa on my bedroom wall with the Skyline from 2 Fast 2 Furious, much to my dad's chagrin.thegreenhell said:

I think the point is more that he's heralded as some kind of driving god by too many, when in reality his driving talent is good but limited (as evidenced by the sheer number of incidents) and is ultimately only intended to generate clicks and attention. It's just folk getting sucked in to the youtube culture of celebrity thing.
I have only watched a couple of Misha's videos after being made aware of him in Auto Alex video's. This thread has made me curious though, how many incidents has he had (excluding during races).- E30 Turbo - Overheated the brakes and binned it Wehrseifen
- BMW 330 drove into another competitor in RCN (average time trial) spun into barrier Metzgesfeld
- MX5 - spun off into the barrier in the wet - pre Carrousel
- BMW 330 - pre season testing, side gone
- BMW 330 - first lap of quali, first VLN, wheel on the white line barrier flugplatz
- E92 M3 I think Metzgesfeld
- M4 ignored low tyre pressure warning and tyre loosing grip, found the barrier bruchen lI
- BMW 330 - turned straight across the front of a GT4 car that was alongside, Bruchen Il
- GR86 - in waaay too hot into
Bruchen 1, misses the apex, gets on the marbles, barrier
If I was to have a word with him I’d ask him to concentrate all the time whatever he is driving and focus on looking as far down the road as possible all the time.
It really is the basics, the speed of a professional driver is there but the discipline is not.

My take on Misha, is that he is guilty of a loss of concentration whilst driving on track. Both in races and the laps in other peoples cars. I’ve seen may of his videos and when there is an incident you can see it unfolding before he appears to. I think familiarity has led to some complacency. I also think that occasionally he is not looking far enough ahead.

I think he probably is over-familiar and also has half a mind on making good content chasing down lots of cars. Most accidents happen within a few miles from home - something like that. With proper discipline the above wouldn't really be an issue. But he may have got a bit too casual. If I was to have a word with him I’d ask him to concentrate all the time whatever he is driving and focus on looking as far down the road as possible all the time.

This is basically it. He's an attention-seeking content creator, for whom everything else comes a distant second. He does the classic thing of creating provocative content and promoting the hell out of it to stir up controversy. When the expected negative reactions emerge, he falls back to the safety of his Stans and pleads persecution. Rinse and repeat.
