Are Kaleb and Jacob related? Both have the same surnames.

I just got to the end and it's wrapped up with some heartwarming feelgood scenes along with the predictable figures of harsh reality.
You do wonder how they can move on from here to do another series or if it'll stay as a one-off....
A second series has been mentioned by Clarkson in one of the videos if this is a success, the thing is though, what happens to the farm when he is off filming Grand Tour.

Loved every episode

I enjoy Harry's Farm on YouTube for the greater level of detail, but Jezza has always been good at making things entertaining

Having grown up on a farm it was a fun watch smile

Surely the biggest talking point is that Jeremy has the last CRT pc monitor in the world on his desk.
I'm glad I'm not the only one to spot that.
But he never uses it, always uses a lap top. I’m disappointed about that!

Watched all of it in one day, OH grew up on a small holding so enjoyed watching him struggle to keep the sheep in line..

Only episode I didn't like too much was ep 3. Felt alot like S1-2 TGT, Clarkson making a massive mess for little reason whilst shouting

If that's the one where he obliterated the countryside to create a stupid pond i'm with you there.

Really enjoyed it, swearing brought nothing and should have been left out. Hopefully will make people appreciate the things farmers have to go through. Kaleb is brilliant.

That episode was the weakest. When it was finished it was obvious someone had been in there and done a proper job.

I binged watched it all last night. The second season, if it stays grounded, could be even better.

Episode 3 was the farm shop, where he made a mess.
Episode 4 was the pond, where he made a mess.

Although Ep4 was more about diversity and making space for wildlife, which he not only seemed to really enjoy - the barn owl for example - but is also an important and often overlooked part of farming. Go to the big arable estates in East Anglia and you'll struggle to see many trees, let alone ponds and woodland, so it's important to make habitats for animals and insects where you can. Good for him.

It may have been used at least little, a beige keyboard appears and disappears at least once

Kaleb runs it and it's got a better chance of making a profit?

Everything I know about farming I learnt from watching TG S09E05 and the original All Creatures Great and Small. Is there enough material in a year when you've more got the hang of things and don't have Covid to fill another 8 episodes?

binged the 8 episodes on Saturday. great tv. don't watch it if you are expecting 'belly laughs' - it's not that type of show.

Heart warming, feel good, factual and entertaining. Top Marks JC & Co

My expectations were in check but I just couldn't get on with it - started being distracted after about 20 mins, then turned it off after about 30 mins of the first episode..

Perhaps I should give it another go.

Every year is different. Different weather, pandemic is over, laws and regulations change. On top of that we would see how the wild area and farm shop develops and Clarkson would get to try new ideas. I understand he is trying to grow durum wheat to take advantage of the drier, warmer climate.

The worst thing Amazon could do is to make it less about farming and more about Kaleb, Charlie and the other “personalities”.

I understand the reasoning perfectly well, but my point is he actually made things worse than they were before.

Maybe for a few months, but he's introduced a whole new environment (the pond) which will support far more life than was there before. Its a great thing for the environment.

To me it did look quite hairy having that digger start slipping down the slope

Maybe for a few months, but he's introduced a whole new environment (the pond) which will support far more life than was there before. Its a great thing for the environment.
He got someone in to identify if anything was living there then killed it all.
He pulled clay out of where it should have been left and threw it all over the top soil permanently ruining the environment.
The barn owl was happily living, guess where? Oh aye, in a barn. So it was offered some stupid brightly coloured MDF box facing the wrong way. If anything was ever daft enough to move in the thing will leak and rot away in no time anyhow.
Then there was a shot of his trophy blonde swimming through the murk of one of his filthy plant free puddles heading for a load of scum floating at one end. The camera then conveniently pulled away.
He then planted trees too shallow, at the wrong time of the year and in a drought where I think they died.
Playing with shops, tractors, land and plants was all well and good and great entertainment, but ffs sake, just leave the wildlife alone or do it sensitively and properly.
He genuinely did more harm than good there, it was doing better on its own before he messed it up.
