Assuming most people here started on Apple TV with a free trial, who has actually renewed their subscription?
I renewed mine after my free trial, paid for 1 month, then was given another 6 months with my PS5 (might have been 3 months, can’t remember) - For £5.99 a month and considering I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve watched on it so far, I’m happy to pay it

Mrs Wombat would kill me if I hadn’t renewed and she wasn’t able to watch the next series of The Morning Show.

Pay the subs and never search for ‘the Pirate Bay’... laugh

I renewed and we've been watching Ted Lasso s2 (not as good as s1 but tolerable) and Long Way Up, which after a tedious couple of opening episodes is really beginning to stretch its legs and take us on a fabulous journey. Ewan really is a charming bugger.

Don’t worry, it’s about to get tedious and confusing again, as soon as it turns into the A Team and they suddenly jump about 800 miles!

Since Supermarket ended i have searched for a filler programme and signed up for Ted Lasso - it’s great value at £6 I think.

To be honest, it was tedious throughout and I say that as a fan of Long Way Round and Long Way Down. Really couldn't into it and all the fake faffing with charging that all miraculously then worked. I also suspect that the Sprinter did most of the donkey work and an awful lot of towing of the stupid electric pickups that you still can't buy three years after filming

The Pirate Bay has never been my thing. Call me old fashioned but I am willing to pay for content I like rather than trying to nick it.

Try to stick with it as they really don't talk much about charging after the first three/four episodes. After that it's back to the usual amazing scenery and superb photography.

Physical.

Pretty good. Funny. Looks great and a fantastic soundtrack. Rose Byrne is very sexy.

Survivor - a film cut into many many half hours. I hope it’s worth it as I’m 4 hours in.

I really enjoyed 'Trying' as mentioned by someone on here. A nice, heartfelt comedy with characters you end up caring about!

I dip in and out of Apple TV+. I'll wait until there are a few shows I'd like to watch, pay for a month and watch them all.

This time around, I watched:-
S2 of 'for all mankind'
S2 of Mythic Quest
S2 of 'Home before dark'
S1 of Physical
S1 & S2 of Trying.
CODA ,which was a lovely film
Finally, Palmer - which was also a good watch.

That's a lot of content for £4.99

Now I'll wait for S2 of Morning Show, S2 of 'See' and S1 of Foundations to have all their episodes available before I dive back in for another month.

Starting to feel like Apple TV is getting focussed on sci-fi:

Foundation is excellent.
Looking forward to Finch, with Tom Hanks, now being trailed.
As is Invasion, also due soon and being trailed.

Had my third attempt at Ted Lasso last night. That is three out of three that I have fallen asleep. Guess it's not for me smile

I watched all of it. It didn't improve. They also skipped the inconveniently difficult bits.

The comedy Acapulco is worth a watch - 30 minute episodes so not too time intensive, light hearted comedy about a boy from Mexico working in a resort in 80s Mexico.
Weekly release and I think they’re up to episode 4 now, if you don’t like the first episode you won’t like the rest!
Could do without the bits in the present mind.

Invasion is off to a good start, waiting for the War of the Worlds comparison to arrive but hopefully better than we had past few years
