Ridiculous storylines at the moment, we have Meena the psychopath, Jimmy and the most hateful and unloveable wife Nichola (fairy sure if the male character treat a female character like she does the storyline would be about domestic abuse), Pregnancies being hid (what can possibly go wrong?), David and Victoria tip toeing around each other and an obvious ex hubby turning up to claim grandfather rights to Harry……

Best thing this week has been the long overdue reappearance of Prya, sadly without her puppies being noticeable!

I guess we will have to wait for Wendy to return to find out who the mystery man is that has been sniffing around, guessing he is a disgruntled relative of the recently deceased lady whose funeral Wendy attended and who for some reason left £50k to Victoria's kid and that is what he is after
My guess he's her ex husband and father to her kids and thus Harry's grandad.
yes Promo blurb from ITV confirms that's it. Back story is he was released from prison a few months ago having served time for various things including coercive control & domestic abuse against Wendy (seems familiar - ah yes we're reusing the Piers / Rhona backplot from a few years back).

He's set to demand the £££ left for the the kid by blackmailing & theatening Wendy and later Vic. He also holds Vic responsible for the death of his "favourite son" so i guess there's mileage in dragging out a reveal that his other son Luke (that he doesn't like because he's gay) was probably responsible.

Promo advert i caught on the ITV player earlier also suggests Noah's going to be accused of attacking / raping Liv next week, after she has a drink relapse.

Noah had some weird fascination with the heavily pregnant Gabby a while back.....!

Entirely predictable, I said that to my wife when his head first appeared in the story a couple of episodes …..yawn.

Victoria is living dangerously as prey to Meena - Even if she doesn't know it yet, and then she'll have Russ to deal with over the £50k inheritance.. David and Victoria getting together, bringing up the 2 kids would be nice, but hang on, this is soapland...

They finished filming the latest spectacular spectacle yesterday. I wonder who’s going to get bumped off? My money’s on Mr Wilks.

So it looks set for Noah to be "guilty" of attacking Liv, when it's far more likely to have probably been the weird, supposedly, Bro / Sis combo.

I'm sure the bite mark on her arm could be easily moulded (CSI style hehe ) and compared to Noah, but as we know with Police investigations in soapland, they never look at the obvious things.

Edit - or, left field suggestion, Vinnie possibly taking advantage of Liv after getting angry over her having a relapse?

Almost certainly going to be the brother or possibly his sister too, Noah will just be the story builder although it looks like Emmerdale are introducing another social concern though. Thank God it isn’t air pollution.

With a bit luck If Noah is in any form of custody pending the investigation by then soap police he will study acting…..

Wow, they resolved the Noah issue quickly - i thought there'd be at least a week or two to drag that out - although as someone mentioned in an earlier post looks like CCTV suddenly exists - just weird that nobody thought to check that before eh hehe

Although i suppose they needed to get Noah cleared so they can concentrate on Meena going batst crazy hehe

Wow!
Hostage situation which is over almost as quickly it began, sound proofing between the restaurant and the office upstairs was shocking and the police only took a statement from one hostage who decided to omit from her statement 90% of the details, good old soap land rolleyes

I liked the episode during the week when Russ exposed Wendy's big secret to Victoria, that she Isn't a real nurse!! OMG what a shocker!

After last night's episode the actor playing Jacob needn't worry about the BAFTAs or the NTAs anytime in the near future smile

I guess Meena won't be happy when she returns to the village hehe

Although i guess it gives the writers the option of going full Stephen King Misery and having Meena "look after" David whilst he recovers from his injuries hehe

I see Diane is leaving, so not sure how her exit will shape up... Some kind of Meena, Victoria triangle...?!

Incredible how Paddy can become an expert in horse doping with less than 24 hours notice laugh So well in fact that Kim's horse will obviously win the race, create a sizable payout and then won't fail a doping test. Given the £££ involved / scale of doping in sports, who in the writers room thought that was believeable? laugh

Neither of them would hit Charity therefore it must be Al.

Edit: you were right after all.
