Trigger Warning w. Jessica Alba - poor, not the worst I've seen but not recommended
I wish I’d taken your advice
well then another one to avoid....

Roger Corman's Operation Rogue - maybe not quite as dull as TW, but that's not to say it's good... 'cause it ain't!

James Blunts film is good. A good bloke with a great sense of humour with his feet on the ground.

Thought on 'Eric'? It's ok but nothing special IMO
I loved it. Thought it was really well written and enjoyed the character development. I’m not a huge fan of cumberbatch but thought this was great.
After 15 minutes I was thinking "not sure if this is for me", After the first episode I was like "I'll give it another 1-2 episodes". After the 3rd I was really enjoying it. Brilliant character development, as you say. BC played his role really, really well.
I thought it was really well executed. Enjoyable even though the story is kind of stupid.

Tour De France: Unchained.

I'm not a sports fan, and have little interest in professional cycling, but this show is compelling.

Sadly, watching it means NF thinks I like football.
I really enjoyed that too.

Get Out - on Netflix.

Really enjoyed it. Quite awkward at times and a scary last ten minutes.

Nope - also on Netflix.

Gave it 20 minutes then stopped and "remove from continue watching".
I thought Nope was dreadful.

However I thought Us was better than Get Out. Really enjoyed it.
Struggling to find anything worth watching so gave: Get Out a try...

.. disturbing! (But good)

Watched 'NOPE' a while back,... stuck with it - weird / bit different - but got through it

Eric

Finished it last night. It was good, but not great. Probably about a 7/10. I found the story a bit whacky and weird, with so many oddball characters and different parts that it just felt like it didn't flow that well.

The child actor was rubbish, I know he barely featured, but when he did, he had no presence and no character.

I don't like cumberbatch but agree he did a really good job here. Very dark, twisted and horrible at times to watch.

The main Detective was amazing too, I really liked him and he was great.

Agreed. Not sure I’d watch it again though

I wonder if I saw the same film. It was a couple of years ago, but I expected something scary, but it was more like an episode of (1970s) Dr Who.

Kind of more - Tales of the unexpected rather than Sci-Fi

Yeah, that's more accurate. I was looking for the name of a low-budget thing with loads of mysterious people dressed in cloaks, who turn out to be in charge of everything.

Yawn.

Kevin Costner American football film Draft Day...think it was on Netflix, really enjoyed this, very little actual footage of football, all about the day of the draft. Found it very interesting, and much better than we had thought it would be!!
