There's a theory in our house that Black Noir will take his disguise off to reveal Noel Fielding underneath.
Now that would be brilliant biggrin

Just watched the series and really enjoyed it, though it was quite brutal at times and Homelander just no words for him! Looking forward to series 2.

After watching the show I downloaded the graphic novels and Butcher is as British as it gets. He even has a Bulldog that follows him everywhere and wears Union Jack t-shirts.
"Terror? fk it." rofl

Also in the comics, Hughie is Scottish. Apparently his appearance in the comics was based on Simon Pegg, who plays Hughie's dad in the show.

Rumours are that we will see Tek Knight in series 2. He's based very heavily on Batman and Iron Man, and it's going to be hilarious if they follow his comic storyline. laugh

Just watched this. Gripping stuff, really enjoyable.

That plane scene was incredibly well done and terrifying

This is exactly how i envisage superheroes would operate in the real world, well intentioned people/lab rats compromised by an evil corporation.

Fantastic TV... apart from Karl Urban's accent.

But yeah, massively watchable.

The scene with Mesmer and the sink was brutal.

Also can OP edit the title of the thread - there are spoilers on Page 1.

It’s brilliant. I just can’t stop thinking Frenchie and Eden Hazard are the same person!
I did a double-take then thought hang on, he’s from Belgium. laugh
Not just me then laugh

10/10 series though. I liked it more than any of the Marvel Netflix ones.

Watching this now - just finished episode four with the plane & the dolphin.

fking love it. Very dark, very funny, very cynical - really well written, shot and acted.

Brilliant.

Violence is a bit tame, not enough bad language, dull characters, lame humour, poor casting.

What's the question? 5 things you couldn't say about 'The Boys'?

Obvious troll is obvious, my mate who doesn't usually like Superhero stuff watched it and he loved it as it goes way beyond your normal Supehero fair.

I'm a superhero fan but have got pretty jaded with what seem like the hundreds of superhero tv shows, I've pretty much given up on all of them now but this I binged watched in a couple of days as it's just so different to everything else out there.

Absolutely - frikkin’ loved it.

My only complaint is the same as all the others on this thread; series was way too short but September is not that far away.

Sorry compadre, but I have to disagree with the season length thing. We've had so many decent ideas ruined by trying to make an 8 episode series stretch to 10 or 12, diluted stories, needless side plots, drawn out love interests etc...

It's a breath of fresh air to have something succinct, sharp and focused.

Agree about the length of the story arcs; it’s just been a breath of fresh air as a series which leaves you wanting more.

Watched the entire series over the weekend, thought it was superb, best series I've watched in a long time and can't wait for the second series to come out

With most here the length was spot on, always great to leave you wanting more.
Was thinking and hoping it was a one off series as it was so good and the direction it was going. I didn't want a re written ending to allow for a 2nd series and ruining this one.
But then so many little possible threads in the last episode and the way they ended it was how to end a series, so looking forward to the next series.

Loved it, had to binge watch it.

THis popped up on my yt feed. It's a parody from the 90s on superhero films. Very different style to the Boys, not as brutal, but one can see the similarities in characters like Captain AMazing. Though I don't think he was the first to have sponsors on his super suit.
