How many individual streaming services is that now? 7 or 8?
too many!!We share D+, Prime (not just for streaming) and NF with the 'kids'. As we have Sky cinema (it was either free or near as dammit on the last special offer) P+ is free so a no-brainer really. I do think though that at least one or 2 of the plethora available will fail in the not too distant future - as you intimate, too many.

Does Halo get better? I mean it looks OK visually but the whole thing felt a bit hollow and cheap and badly acted.
Sort of like a fan made thing you'd find on YouTube made by a team of visual effects/props types.
I'm enjoying it - though I will admit that it's not the best out there it is 'good enough'Sort of like a fan made thing you'd find on YouTube made by a team of visual effects/props types.

Just finished Halo, although it seems as though I’m the only one on the planet who enjoyed it. Just starting Strange New Worlds so we’ll see how that goes, although so far any peril seems easily solved and everyone’s happy in time for the next episode far too quickly: it’s no TNG (yet).
Trouble is, it’s only recently that a load of Marvel stuff was dumped onto Disney so after ploughing through Daredevil and Jessica Jones I’m still only 2/3 of the way through Luke Cage before it’s Iron Fist, Punisher, the rest of Miss Marvel etc etc.
There’s too much!!
nope I too enjoyed Halo - but then again I haven't played the games, looking forward to S2. Regarding SNW I really enjoyed the whole series (though I didn't particularly take to E8).Trouble is, it’s only recently that a load of Marvel stuff was dumped onto Disney so after ploughing through Daredevil and Jessica Jones I’m still only 2/3 of the way through Luke Cage before it’s Iron Fist, Punisher, the rest of Miss Marvel etc etc.

just watched "Sometimes When We Touch" a three-parter about Yacht-rock/soft rock. Bit back-and-forth with the years, some unexpected entrants in the genre (Lionel Richie?) and some interesting factoids (I had no idea whatsoever that Ray Parker Jr was so damn talented!).
Worth it if only for the nostalgia

Paramount+ is 9n offer for £34.95 for a year, 50% off offer from £69.90. Is it worth it for what's on there?
£35 for Blue Bloods, all Star Trek including Strange New Worlds and Lower Decks, Rabbit/Hole, Yellowstone, 1923, 1883, Tulsa King, Deadwood, Bass Reeves, Your Honor, Cheers, Frasier (pretend the reboot isn't there) and Dexter I'd say yes.ben5575 said:
Just taken up this offer and binged the first 6 eps of Tulsa King yesterday (thanks Pidsy). I tried Yellowstone first but it was all a little bit too serious for the festive season.
Is it me or does Paramount continuously stutter/start all the time? Seems like they don't have enough bandwidth for their set up.
TK is very good isn't it. Not noticed any issues with P+ stuttering all the time, or at least no moreso than D+ or AmazonIs it me or does Paramount continuously stutter/start all the time? Seems like they don't have enough bandwidth for their set up.
