TVRPower Bodyshop Open Day - 21st March 10:00 onwards
Discussion
Hi there,
...Further to the thread on the TVR General gassing forum regarding the new venture... I called in at TVRPower on the way home from work a few weeks back and spoke with Dom regarding the possibility of an Open Day for thier premises in Northampton.
After speaking with Greg Lunn we agreed that the best day would be the 21st March 2009, now a load of the Warks and West Mids TVR lot are getting a convoy together meeting at the Ricoh Arena Coventry....see the thread on the TVR WWM forum if you want finer details.
The idea for those from the Coventry side is that we have a convoy from WWM to the premises, first meeting point to be just off Junction 3 of the M6 on the A444 near the Ricoh Arena at the Makro's carpark @ 09:30 leave Coventry at 09:45 for the run to Nothampton...destination:NN4 8JW
Don't forget radios...channel three order of the day..
However the Open day is aimed at anyone who wants to have a look see at thier new unit...so not exclusive please come along, be good to see some failiar faces and kick some tyres at the same.
As Dom and Greg are organising a Hog Roast for in excess of 100 people...they obviously need to an idea of numbers numbers...so do us a favour and indicate below if you intend to pop in, that way we will have enough to go around.
In addition we paid them a visit regarding some black cars for the TVRCC stand at the NEC in November, although a work inprogress at that time it allvlooked very promising, with state of the art facilities.

Put us down Steve.
Aren't there big speed bumps into the Ricoh? Unless you mean on the slip road off the island. Assume there isn't a game on that day?
Back of Makro has a big car park which may be better - everyone likes to park near the door so plenty of room away from the spaces nearest the building.

Good thinking, was not thinking their carpark but happy to say Makro One though...Aren't there big speed bumps into the Ricoh? Unless you mean on the slip road off the island. Assume there isn't a game on that day?
